Are you Storm Ready?
While there is no way to be certain about the severity of this winter's storms, residents can be more prepared and participate in reducing flooding risks.
- Help reduce the risk of flooding on City roads by putting leaves and other yard debris in your green waste container.
- The City of Livermore provides a Leaf Pick-Up program which starts the week after Thanksgiving and ends by mid February.
- The leaves are picked up one day before the regularly scheduled street sweeping day.
- For instance: if the street is scheduled to be swept on Thursday, the leaves will be picked up on Wednesday.
- If the scheduled pick-up day is not sufficient, residents can also put the leaves in bags and call (925) 960-8020.
