Base features include: an aerial background, city boundaries, addresses, and streets, schools, public parks, and other public facilities such as libraries, civic center, and community centers.

Planning layers include: the Zoning map, General Plan Land Use map, and Livermore’s Sphere of Influence. The zoning and General Plan land use designations describe the allowable types of land uses and building forms for a given property. The Sphere of Influence represents the City of Livermore's general service area, often extending beyond the city limits. See the Planning page for more info.

Instructions

The GIS viewer displays a map on the right and an information pane on the left. The Guide tab includes instructions for how to use the GIS viewer. Use the Layers tab to select the layers you wish to view. Turn on and off layers using the checkbox to the left of any layer.

Tools are located at the top of the main map area. Use the Address Search tool to locate a property. Begin by typing in the street name, then selecting the number. The parcel information will appear in a new Identify Results tab, with links to additional information. You can also use the Identify tool to find information about a parcel.
