FEMA Public Assistance Program - Final Public Notice
The City of Livermore applied for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance Program for locations damaged during the 2022/2023 severe winter storm disaster. The public notice linked below provides information on FEMA’s intent to provide funding for these projects. Under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), federal actions must be reviewed and evaluated for feasible alternatives and for social, economic, historic, environmental, legal, and safety considerations. This notice serves as a project‐specific final notice for FEMA’s funding action located within a Special Flood Hazard Area. FEMA has determined the only practicable alternative is to fund these projects.
