What the City Completed:

Week of 9/25/23: Completion of punchlist items

Week of 9/5/23: Contractor worked on median irrigation including installation of a new irrigation supply line, new sprinkler heads, new isolation valves and new automatic control valves (battery operated) along entire length of median.

Week of 9/11/23: Contractor complete median irrigation work. Contractor plans to complete the top coat slurry pavement operation on 9/13/23. 

Thursday 8/31/23 and Friday 9/1/23 Contractor will be paving back utility trenches along Trevarno Road.  Contractor will help escort vehicles through the work zone.

Week of 8/23/23: Contractor working on the Southern half of the Entrance Driveway which will be blocked off until Monday 8/28/23.  Contractor also working on replacement of curb along Trevarno Road. 

Week of 8/14/23: Contractor working on water line abandonments.

Week of 8/7/23: Private contractors working on water tie-ins along the North side of Trevarno Road.

Week of 7/31/23: Contractor to work on irrigation median connections and continue abandonment of existing sewer system.

Week of 7/24/23: Contractor to finish water main at First Street and Trevarno Road and complete testing for the water system.  Upon confirmation that resident's contractor has completed sewer lateral connections, Contractor to begin abandonment of the sewer system.

Week of 7/19/23: Contractor working on the water main at First Street and Trevarno Road and complete testing for the water system.  Resident's contractor to tie-into new sewer laterals.

Week of 7/3/23: Contractor to work on water system tie-in, WATER SYSTEM SHUTDOWN/TIE-IN IS SCHEDULED FOR 2AM-6AM ON THURSDAY 7/6/23.

Week of 6/26/23: Contractor to begin to cap and abandon the existing sewer and water systems.

Week of 6/12/23: Contractor worked on Water Lateral installation.

Week of 6/19/23: Contractor worked on the water main near First Street, work on irrigation service installation to median, then complete water system testing.

Week of 6/5/23: Contractor continued Water main line installation up to First Street, then fell back and began water lateral installation.

Week of 5/29/23: Contractor began Water Line install at LARPD and headed towards First Street.

Week of 5/22/23: Contractor fell back & began Sewer Lateral installation along Trevarno between 273 Trevarno Road through LARPD, all sewer laterals on both sides of streets were installed.

Week of 5/15/23: Contractor to continued Sewer Line installation along Trevarno between 181 Trevarno Road through LARPD.

Week of 5/8/23: Contractor finished Sewer Manhole installation at First Street then moved east onto Trevarno between First Street through 181 Trevarno Road.

Week of 5/1/23: Contractor began Sewer Line installation beginning at the Sewer Manhole at First Street this week.

Week of 4/24/23: Contractor began utility potholing, setup of traffic control measures and sawcutting asphalt in preparation of sitework

Week of 4/17/23: Contractor performed preliminary survey work, setup erosion control measures and begin mobilization onsite 

-The City completed the design of the project then advertised the project for bid on December 12, 2022 and bids were opened on January 19, 2023.  The City received nine bids for the project.  The lowest responsible and responsive bid was received from Paulson Cox Construction, Inc. for $1,131,430.

Public Outreach Meeting Agenda

The new 8" Sanitary Sewer line will be located on the North side of Trevarno Road.

The new 8" Water line will be located on the South side of Trevarno Road.

What are the Impacts to Residents?

• Construction Schedule: April 2023 thru December 2023
• Tree trimming: Minor pruning for trees, bushes and roots which may interfere with new sewer and water laterals
• Construction Hours: 7:00am thru 5:00pm
• Lane Closures: Contractor will utilize a portion of Trevarno Road for equipment and staging.  Residents will be notified in advance of any closures that may affect access to their homes.
• Trash Pickup: Contractor may request residents place their trash cans on the side of the road that is not occupied by construction work during trash pickup weeks.
