Annual repairs to existing City sidewalks including curb/gutter and street trees. This project pertains to city-maintained sidewalks including decorative sidewalks in the downtown area.

This project will include:

removal of potential tripping hazards on backing lots and sidewalks adjacent to City properties, and
making the sidewalks safer for pedestrians.

Project Schedule and Status

Current Status: Some of the sidewalk funding (those with lifts greater than 2") will go to CIP 202201. The bid for removing and replacing the sidewalk was awarded to Teichert. Approximately 220 sidewalk repairs are scheduled from November through January. For sidewalk lifts less than 2", Precision Concrete will be slicing the sidewalk. Precision Concrete will be slicing repairs along 30 miles of City-maintained sidewalks, or about 2,000 slice repairs. This work is scheduled September 17th through October 2024.

Project Design: Complete

Project Construction: Expected to be completed February 2025.
