The City of Livermore is going to start replacing vehicles at the end of their service lives with electric vehicles. This project will be completed in two phases. Phase one will include:

Installing two solar-powered electrical vehicle charging stations in the back parking lot of City Hall.

Phase two will include installing:

Level two charges,
DC Fast Chargers, and
Solar panels for chargers.

Project Schedule and Status

Current Status: Working on installing two Tesla chargers for police vehicles in police parking lot. Install of conduits and panel expected in the first two weeks of September.

Project Design:

Phase One: Complete
Phase Two: Scheduled to start 2025-2026.

Project Construction:

Phase One: Expected to be completed October 2024.
Phase Two: Potential start date 2025-2027.
