Working together to make Livermore cyber safe

Livermore is proud to be the first City to offer a cyber safety app to residents and best of all it is a free and fun way to learn cyber safety.

Livermore is partnering with Right-Hand Cybersecurity to provide free cyber safety awareness to all City residents.  Right-Hand Cybersecurity offers a fun, interactive and unique mobile app that sends notifications for users to complete short, bite sized training sessions to boost a user's cyber safety.  The nano-training sessions are designed to replicate real-world cyber scenarios and are delivered in simple language!

Users have the freedom to explore any topic they want to learn, going beyond the regular training prompts.  The app’s content library is extensive covering all the necessary cybersecurity and cyber safety topics, including how children can operate more safely online. The training includes real-world scenarios that reflect daily habits and decisions that the average person would experience living in our digitally connected world.

The mobile app incorporates gamification to make learning fun and increase engagement.  It incorporates leader boards, badges, competitions and rewards to make training feel less burdensome. The hands-on training will translate practice into long-lasting positive habits.

You can sign up for the app here.
