The City of Livermore is hosting a FREE Community Paper Shredding Event on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 8 am – 12 pm in the City Hall parking lot at 1052 S. Livermore Ave. Livermore residents* may bring up to 3 banker boxes (or the equivalent amount in a reusable or disposable container) of paper documents to be shredded securely on site. All residents are being asked to remain in their car to maintain social distancing. *ID or proof of residency is required. Residents may call 925-960-8015 or email solidwaste_recycling@livermoreca.gov if they have any questions.  

Accepted: 

•  White and colored paper
• File folders
• Window envelopes 
• Clips, staples, and rubber bands ok
• Credit cards
• Hard drives/tapes 

Not Accepted:  

• Photographs
• Plastic sheet protectors
• Binders
• Newspapers 
• Magazines 
• CD/DVS’s/Floppy Discs
• Books/Textbooks
• X-ray’s
