The Bay Area Discovery Museum’s Try-It Truck, a hands-on science and engineering experience for children, will be at Civic Center Library to kick off the Summer Reading Program.
The Try-It Truck is an engineering lab on wheels with brand new stations and hands-on problem-solving adventures designed for PreK to 5th graders. This is a free event for children and their families. No registration is required.
The 2022 Summer Reading Program has a reading game for every age – babies to adults. Participants can log their reading on the free Beanstack app or at Livermore.beanstack.org to earn badges and prizes. By logging online, participants can help Livermore reach our Community Reading Goal of 3 million minutes this summer. Paper gameboards are also available for pickup at the library. The library will be hosting free events all summer. Visit the library to pick up a Summer Events Calendar or check the website for details.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Livermore Library. For further information, please call 925-373-5500.
